Change the Trustaroo app language
Trustaroo is available in English and Dutch. Switching takes one click and the app remembers your choice in the browser you are using.
Steps
- Sign in at my.trustaroo.app.
- Select your avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select the language entry in the menu. It is marked with the flag of the language you are using now.
- Choose English or Nederlands.
The interface changes straight away. There is nothing to save.
Trustaroo stores the language in the browser you are using, not on your account. Sign in from another computer or another browser and it starts from that browser's own preference, which you can change the same way.
What changes with the language
The language you pick changes the app interface: navigation, screen titles, field labels, buttons and messages. It also changes the language of messages Trustaroo sends in response to what you do in the app.
It does not change the wording of your public review page. That page has its own settings, and custom copy you write yourself is used for every language, so write it in the language your customers speak.
Printed and downloaded material
Two downloads follow the same two languages:
- The printable PDF asks for a language when you download it. Pick English or Dutch in the dialog, along with the paper size.
- The Apple Wallet pass is generated in English and Dutch as well.
Because you choose the language at download time, you can print English material for one location and Dutch for another without changing the app language at all.
Your own interface language is a private preference. What matters for review numbers is that the printed card and the review page speak the language of the person holding the phone.
This help center is bilingual too
The documentation you are reading now has a Dutch version. Use the language selector in the top bar of the help center to switch. The English pages are the reference version, so if a translated page looks out of date, read the English one.
If a screen stays in the other language
- Reload the page. A screen that was already open occasionally keeps the old wording until it reloads.
- Check that you changed the language in the browser you are actually looking at, not in another window.
- A few older screens, such as parts of the sign-up and password flow, contain fixed wording that does not follow your choice. That is a known limitation and does not mean your setting was lost.
