Free plan versus Trustaroo Premium
Trustaroo has one free plan and one Premium plan. This page lists exactly what changes when you subscribe, so you can decide whether Premium is worth it for your business.
What both plans include
Collecting reviews works fully on the free plan. That means QR codes, short review links, the printable PDF, the Apple Wallet pass, the review filter with your own star threshold, private feedback, the review table and the core dashboard metrics.
In other words, you can run a complete review-collection campaign without paying anything. Premium is about scale, automation and appearance.

The four premium features in detail
Unlimited locations
A free account can have two active locations. Trustaroo shows how many you have used, and blocks the Add Location button once you reach the limit. Premium removes the cap.
Archiving a location frees a slot on the free plan, so you can retire a location and add a new one without subscribing. An archived location's short link keeps working for customers, so collect its printed QR codes back in yourself when you retire it.
Email automation
Free accounts cannot send review request emails. Premium unlocks the automation panel, the email sequence, industry templates, the contacts queue and both sending options: Trustaroo sending the emails for you, or forwarding them to Zapier.
Without Premium you collect reviews from people who scan a code or open a link you shared. With Premium you can also reach people after the fact, using contacts pushed into the queue by Zapier or your own systems.
Review page branding
Free accounts use the default Trustaroo wording and the Trustaroo logo on the public review page. Premium unlocks logo upload plus preset and custom copy for the review, feedback and redirect pages.
If your review page is the first thing a customer sees after scanning, branding is often the feature that matters most. It makes the page look like yours rather than a third-party form.
The two locked dashboard tiles
The Review requests and Response rate tiles on the dashboard are locked on the free plan and show an upgrade prompt instead of numbers. Average rating, total reviews, scans, average score, referrals and the rating distribution all work on the free plan.
How to decide
- One or two locations, no email list, happy with the standard review page: stay on free.
- Three or more locations: Premium is the only way to run them all at once.
- You already email customers after a visit or a job: automation is the feature that will move your review count most.
- You care that the page looks like your business: branding is worth it on its own.
Subscribing and cancelling are both self-service through the Stripe billing portal. After a cancellation you keep at most two active locations and lose automation and branding, but nothing you collected is deleted.
