Manage users in your organization

The Users screen lists everyone in your Trustaroo organization and lets you edit their details, change their roles and remove them. Finding and updating a user takes a minute.

Most customers never see this screen

Organization only appears in the navigation if your role includes the permission to read users or roles. A single business owner running one profile does not have it and does not need it.

Open the users list

  1. Sign in at my.trustaroo.app.
  2. Expand Organization in the left-hand navigation.
  3. Select Users.

What the list shows

Each row shows the person's avatar, Name, Email and Phone, a count of the business profiles and locations they administer, and their Roles. Sort the list by selecting the Name, Email or Phone column header, and narrow it with the Search users box. The paginator at the bottom sets how many rows you see at once.

Edit a user

  1. Select the row to open the detail drawer on the right.
  2. Edit Firstname, Lastname, Email or Phone.
  3. Tick or untick the roles listed under Roles. Each role is a checkbox.
  4. Choose Save.

The drawer also shows Business Profiles this user administers. For each profile you see its name, creation date, subscription status, contact details, the review page URL, the redirect threshold, whether the review filter is on, and every location with its short link, archived state and which settings it overrides.

That block is the fastest way to answer "why is this customer not seeing what they expect", because it shows the profile-level and location-level settings in one place.

Deleting a user cannot be undone

Delete in the drawer removes the user account. Reviews and feedback already collected stay, but the person loses access immediately and has to sign up again.

Adding people

Trustaroo does not currently expose an "add user" control on the Users screen. New people get an account by signing up at my.trustaroo.app themselves and confirming their email address. Once they exist, you can find them here and adjust their roles.

Self-registered users automatically receive the BusinessOwner role, which grants access to a business profile and its reviews but not to the Organization screens.

One login per person

Sharing a single login means shared passwords and no way to tell who changed a setting. Have each colleague register their own account instead.

Who can do what here

  • Reading the list requires the user read permission. Without it, Users does not appear in the navigation at all.
  • Save and Delete in the drawer require the user write permission.
  • Changing which roles exist is a separate screen with its own permission.

If a colleague reports that the screen is missing or that the buttons do nothing, check the role assigned to them rather than the screen itself.
