Manage your Trustaroo subscription
Everything about paying for Trustaroo happens in the Subscription settings panel and in the Stripe billing portal it opens. Use it to subscribe, change your card, download invoices, cancel or reactivate. Expect a couple of minutes.
Trustaroo does not store your card details. Payments, invoices and cancellations are handled by Stripe, which opens in a new page when you subscribe or manage your subscription.
Open the subscription panel
- Sign in at my.trustaroo.app.
- Select your avatar in the top-right corner, then choose Settings.
- Select Subscription.
The panel shows Subscription Status at the top. When a subscription is active, a Subscription Details card below it lists the Plan price and Current Period Ends, the date the current billing period runs to.
Subscribe to Premium
- In the Subscription panel, read the price shown under Subscribe to Premium.
- Choose Subscribe Now. Trustaroo opens a Stripe checkout page.
- Enter your card details and complete the payment.
- You are returned to Trustaroo. The status becomes Active once Stripe confirms the payment.
There is one Premium plan, not a set of tiers, so there is nothing to choose between. See the free plan versus Trustaroo Premium for exactly what it unlocks.
The subscription belongs to your business profile, not to an individual login. Everyone who administers that profile sees the premium features.
Change your card, invoices or cancel
Choose Manage Subscription in the Subscription panel. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can:
- update the payment method on file,
- view and download past invoices and receipts,
- cancel the subscription.
When you are done, close the Stripe page and return to Trustaroo. Changes made in the portal are reflected in the panel.
What each status means
- Active - the subscription is paid and premium features are unlocked.
- Canceled - the subscription has ended. The panel offers Reactivate Subscription, which takes you back to the billing portal.
- Past Due - Stripe could not collect a payment. Update your payment method in the billing portal so the subscription returns to Active.
- No Subscription - you are on the free plan and have never subscribed.
After a cancellation you keep at most two active locations, lose email automation and lose review page branding. Archive the locations you no longer need before cancelling, so you decide which two stay active rather than being surprised.
If the status does not update
Stripe tells Trustaroo about a payment through a background notification, so there can be a short delay. Reload the Subscription panel after a minute. If the status still does not match what Stripe shows, check that the payment actually completed in the billing portal before contacting support.
Frequently confused with billing
Review requests and automation emails are a premium feature, but they are not billed per message. Nothing in Trustaroo is charged per scan, per review or per location.
