Update your profile and avatar

Your profile holds the name, email address and phone number attached to your login, plus the avatar shown in the top-right corner of Trustaroo. Updating all of it takes about a minute.

Where settings live

Settings is reached from the avatar menu in the top-right corner, not from the left-hand navigation.

Steps

  1. Sign in at my.trustaroo.app.
  2. Select your avatar in the top-right corner, then choose Settings.
  3. Stay on the Account panel. It is selected by default.
  4. To change your picture, choose Upload under the avatar and pick a PNG or JPEG file. The new image previews immediately.
  5. Edit Firstname, Lastname, Email and Phone as needed.
  6. Choose Save. A confirmation appears at the top of the panel.

Choose Cancel instead of Save to discard everything you changed, including a picture you just picked.

What each field is used for

  • Firstname and Lastname make up the full name shown next to your account and in the Organization users list.
  • Email is the address you sign in with, and the address Trustaroo sends account mail to.
  • Phone is a private contact detail. It is never shown to your customers.
Your email address is your sign-in name

Changing Email also changes the address you sign in with. Use an inbox you can still open, because password reset links are sent there.

The avatar is personal and only visible inside the app. It never appears on your public review page. The logo customers see on the review page is uploaded separately in the review page branding panel of your business profile.

If you have not uploaded an avatar, Trustaroo shows a neutral person icon instead. That is normal and does not affect anything else.

Use a square image

The avatar is displayed in a circle. A square photo, roughly 200 by 200 pixels or larger, crops cleanly. A wide image gets cut off at the sides.

Contact details customers see are separate

The email address and phone number printed on your private feedback page do not come from this panel. They come from the contact details in your business profile, and each location can override them. Update those if a customer said they could not reach you, not your personal profile.

When your details do not save

  • If the Save button stays disabled, one of the required fields is empty. Firstname, Lastname and Email are all required.
  • If an error appears under Email, the address is either not a valid address or already used by another Trustaroo account.
  • If your name still looks wrong in the top-right menu, reload the page so the app picks up the change.
