Upload your review page logo
Your review page is the first thing a customer sees after scanning your QR code or opening your email. Adding your logo makes it obvious they are in the right place. Uploading one takes about a minute.
The Review page branding panel shows an upgrade prompt on a free account, with an Upgrade to Premium button. Without a subscription the review page uses the Trustaroo logo.
Before you start
Have the file ready. A logo exported straight from your website or your sign maker is usually fine; a photo of your shopfront is not a logo.
Steps
- Sign in at my.trustaroo.app and open your business profile.
- Select the Review page branding panel.
- Select Upload logo and choose an image file. The file picker accepts image files.
- Wait for the confirmation. The preview beside the buttons switches to your logo and Trustaroo shows a "Logo updated" message.
- Open your own review link on a phone to check the result. See Test your review link redirect.
The upload takes effect straight away. You do not need to save the page for the logo, unlike the copy settings further down the panel.
Removing the logo
Select Remove logo to go back to the Trustaroo logo. The button is only available while a custom logo is in place, and the hint on screen states the fallback plainly: if no logo is uploaded, the Trustaroo logo will be used.
Choosing a good file
The logo is shown on a page most people open on a phone, in a modest strip at the top. That has three consequences.
Go wide, not tall. A horizontal logo, or a horizontal version of your logo with the wordmark next to the symbol, fills the space well. A tall crest or a vertical lockup ends up shrunk to almost nothing.
Drop the small print. A tagline, an established date or a web address under the name will not be legible. Use the version of your logo that is only the mark and the name.
Use a transparent background. A PNG with a transparent background sits cleanly on the page. A logo exported with a white rectangle around it shows as a visible box.
Export at two or three times the size you expect it to appear, so the logo stays sharp on a high-density phone screen. Then check the file is not needlessly heavy: a slow-loading review page loses customers before they rate you.
A white or very pale logo can disappear against a light page. If yours is designed for dark backgrounds, upload a dark or full-color variant instead of the white one.
Where the logo appears
The logo belongs to your business profile, so it appears on the review page of every location you have. There is no per-location logo.
It is shown to every visitor of that review page, which is worth remembering if your logo is not yet public: whatever you upload here is visible to anyone who scans one of your codes.
- What happens if I never upload a logo?
- The review page shows the Trustaroo logo instead. Nothing breaks, but the page looks less like your business.
- Can each location have its own logo?
- No. The logo is set once for your business profile and is used on the review page of every location.
- Do I have to save the page after uploading?
- No. The logo is stored as soon as the upload finishes. Only the copy settings need saving.
- Can I put my logo on the automation emails as well?
- The branding panel controls the review page. If you need a logo in the email itself, send through your own mail tool with Zapier.
- Why does my logo look blurry on a phone?
- The file is probably too small. Export it at two or three times the size it appears at and upload again.
