Edit your business information

You will set the company name that appears on your public review page and the contact details Trustaroo may show to a customer who leaves private feedback. Two minutes, and it is the first thing worth doing after onboarding.

Before you start

Sign in at my.trustaroo.app and select Profile in the navigation. The panel list opens on My business information.

Steps

  1. Select Profile in the navigation, then My business information in the panel list if you are not already there.
  2. Fill in Company name. This is the name your customers see, so use the trading name rather than the legal entity: "Café Noord", not "Café Noord Holding B.V."
  3. Under Contact details, fill in Contact email. The placeholder suggests a shared address such as support@company.com, which is a better choice than a personal mailbox.
  4. Fill in Contact phone with a number a customer could actually call during opening hours.
  5. Turn on Show contact email or Show contact phone if you want those details to appear on the private feedback page. Both are off until you switch them on.
  6. Select Save at the top right of the panel.
Save stays greyed out until something changes

The Save button is disabled while the form is untouched or invalid. If it will not activate, check that Contact email is a valid address; an invalid one blocks the whole panel from saving.

Where the company name shows up

Your company name is used in the question on your review page: "How was your experience with Café Noord?". If a location has Show location name to customers switched on, the line becomes "How was your experience with Café Noord - Downtown?" instead. That per location setting is covered in Per-location overrides.

Renaming does not change printed material

Changing the company name updates your review page immediately, but QR codes and PDFs you already printed keep whatever name was on them. The link itself does not change, so old QR codes keep working.

What this panel does not control

  • Where happy customers are sent. That is Review page URL on the Location Defaults panel. See Location defaults.
  • Your own name, email and avatar. Those belong to your user account, under Settings in your avatar menu. See Profile and avatar.
  • The wording on your public pages. Titles, subtitles and button text are part of review page branding. See Review page copy modes.

How contact details flow down to locations

The contact email, contact phone and their two visibility toggles act as defaults for every location. A location can supply its own address and number, or override just the visibility, and anything it leaves unset falls back to what you entered here. That is what makes a single support address workable for a chain while a specific branch can still publish its own line. See Contact details on the feedback page.
