Tour of the Trustaroo app
This page maps the app so you stop hunting for settings. Sign in at my.trustaroo.app and read it with the app open next to you; five minutes and you will know where everything lives.
The navigation bar
Trustaroo puts its main navigation across the top, under the logo. On a phone or a narrow window that row collapses behind the menu button on the left. What you see depends on your permissions, so a colleague with a limited role may see fewer entries than you do.
- Dashboard is the reporting screen.
- Reviews is the full list of ratings and written feedback.
- Profile is your business profile and everything about locations.
- Automation is the premium email sequence builder.
- Organization is a group that appears only for users who may manage people. It contains Users and Roles.
On the right of the header sit a Need help? button that opens a support email, a notifications bell, and your avatar.
Dashboard
The dashboard answers "is this working". It shows headline numbers, including Average rating, Total reviews, Review requests and Response rate, each compared against the previous period. Below them are the Scans, Average score and Referrals charts and a Distribution of ratings breakdown, and you can switch the window between 30 days, 3 months and 9 months. A recent-reviews list sits at the bottom with a Show all link into the Reviews screen.
Start with Dashboard metrics for what each number counts.
Reviews
All Reviews is one table, one row per customer who opened your review page. The columns are Date, Location, Rating, Feedback, Device, Browser and Redirected. Search reviews filters by text, and Filter by location narrows to a single branch or back to All locations.
Redirected is the column people misread most often: it records whether the customer selected the continue button on the thank-you page, not whether they actually wrote a review there, and it stays empty when the review filter is off. Review table columns explains each one.
Profile
Profile opens your business profile with a panel list down the side. There are four panels:
- My business information, holding your company name and the contact details that can appear on the private feedback page.
- Location Defaults, holding the Review page URL, the Enable review filter toggle and the Referral threshold. Every location inherits these unless it overrides them.
- Locations, the table of your locations with their short links, a settings summary, review counts and a row of action buttons for copying the link, showing the QR code, downloading the PDF, adding an Apple Wallet pass, editing and archiving.
- Review page branding, where a logo and custom wording for the public pages live.
The save button for the panel you are on appears at the top right of the content area, next to the panel title. On the Locations panel that button becomes Add Location instead.
Uploading a logo and rewriting the copy on your public review page needs a Trustaroo Premium subscription. Everything else on the Profile screen works on the free plan.
Automation
Automation is the review-request email builder, and it has three panels: General Settings, Email Sequence and Contacts Queue. It sends timed emails to contacts that arrive through a webhook, either from Trustaroo directly or forwarded to your own email tool through Zapier. Start at Automation overview.
This is part of Trustaroo Premium. Upgrade from Account and billing in the app to switch it on.
Your avatar menu
Selecting your avatar opens a small menu that shows which account you are signed in as, plus:
- Settings, which has three panels of its own: Account for your name, email and avatar, Security for your password, and Subscription for your Premium plan and the billing portal.
- A language switcher offering English and Nederlands. It changes the app interface, and it also decides which language a downloaded Apple Wallet pass uses.
- Sign out.
Organization
Users lists the people who can sign in to your account and which roles they hold. Roles defines what a role may read, write or create. Both entries only appear if your own role includes permission to see them. See Manage users and Roles and permissions.
