Find your Trustpilot review link
Trustpilot gives every business profile a review URL built from the domain the profile is registered under. Once you have that URL, you paste it into Trustaroo's Review page URL field and happy customers land on the Trustpilot review form. It takes about five minutes.
Before you start
- You need a claimed Trustpilot business profile for your domain. If nobody has claimed it, do that first from Trustpilot's business area.
Find the URL
- Search Trustpilot for your business and open your profile page. The page address contains
/review/followed by your domain. - Note the domain exactly as Trustpilot shows it, for example
example.com. That string, not your company name, is what identifies your profile. - Use the write-a-review action on your profile page and copy the address it opens, or build it yourself:
https://www.trustpilot.com/evaluate/example.com
- Open the URL in a private browser window and confirm you see the review form with a star selector.
The /review/example.com page shows your existing reviews. The /evaluate/example.com page is where a customer writes one. Sending customers to the profile page adds a step, and a noticeable share of them never take it.
Get the domain right
Trustpilot treats the domain as the identity of the profile, and small differences create separate profiles:
- Use the domain shown on your existing Trustpilot profile, not the one you would like to use.
- Do not add
https://or a trailing path to the domain inside the evaluate URL. - If your business was set up under
www.example.comrather thanexample.com, use exactly what the profile shows. - If you find two Trustpilot profiles for slightly different domains, ask Trustpilot support to merge them before you start collecting, otherwise your reviews split across both.
Country domains
Trustpilot runs country-specific sites such as nl.trustpilot.com. Reviews land on the same profile whichever domain the customer uses, but the interface language differs. Use the country domain your customers read; for a Dutch-speaking audience, https://nl.trustpilot.com/evaluate/example.com presents the form in Dutch. Verify the exact address by opening the write-a-review action on that country site.
Paste it into Trustaroo
- Sign in at my.trustaroo.app and open your business profile.
- Paste the URL into Review page URL in the Location Defaults panel and select Save.
- To send one branch to Trustpilot and another to Google, set Review page URL on the individual location instead. See Per-location overrides.
A location sends every redirected customer to a single URL. Trustaroo does not show a choice of platforms. If Trustpilot and Google both matter to you, pick the one you want to grow now and revisit the decision later; you can change the URL at any time without reprinting anything.
Trustpilot and invitations
Trustpilot distinguishes between reviews a customer writes on their own initiative and reviews that follow a verified invitation sent through Trustpilot's own system. A link you hand out through Trustaroo produces the first kind. That is legitimate and normal, but it means the review does not carry Trustpilot's verified-invitation label.
Trustpilot also prohibits offering rewards for reviews and asking only satisfied customers to review you. Keep your ask neutral. See The review filter and platform policies.
Test it
Open your own Trustaroo short link in a private window, submit a high rating and confirm you land on the Trustpilot review form. Full instructions are in Test your review link redirect.
