Browse and filter your reviews
The Reviews page lists every rating and every piece of private feedback your review pages have collected. This guide shows you how to narrow that list down to the rows you care about, which takes about a minute.
Before you start
You need an account that is allowed to read reviews. If the Reviews item is missing from your sidebar, ask an administrator to check your role. See Roles and permissions.
Steps
- Sign in at https://my.trustaroo.app.
- Select Reviews in the sidebar. The page opens with the heading All Reviews and the newest row first.
- To see one location only, open the Filter by location list and pick a location. Choose All locations to clear it again.
- To find specific rows, type in the Search reviews box. The list updates as you type.
- Select the Date, Rating or Redirected heading to sort by that column. Select it again to reverse the order.
- Use the pager at the bottom of the table to move between pages, or change the page size to 5, 10, 25 or 100 rows.
What the search box matches
Search looks inside the feedback text, the device, the browser and the operating system. It does not search dates or location names, so use the sort headings for dates and the Filter by location list for locations.
That makes search most useful for finding themes in private feedback. Searching
for a word like parking or waiting pulls up every comment that mentions it,
across all your locations.
Filter by location first, then search. The two controls work together, so you can look for one word inside one location.
Rows without a rating
A row is created the moment somebody opens your review page, before they choose a star rating. So the list also contains visitors who scanned a QR code and then walked away without rating anything. Those rows show no stars and no feedback.
This is expected and it is why the number of rows on this page is higher than the number of ratings you have collected. If you want the count of actual ratings, use the Total reviews tile on the dashboard.
Testing your QR code adds rows here and to your dashboard numbers. Do your testing in a short burst so it is easy to recognize later.
Notifications for new scans
You do not have to keep the page open. Administrators get a notification in the Trustaroo header as soon as a new scan comes in, so you can open the Reviews page when something arrives instead of refreshing it out of habit.
Narrow screens hide columns
The table drops columns as the window gets narrower: feedback goes first, then device and the redirected marker, then browser. Open the page on a laptop or widen the browser window if a column you expect is not there. Every column is explained in What each review table column means.
What this page does not do
- It does not import the public review a customer writes on Google or Trustpilot. You only see the rating and comment they left on your own review page.
- It has no export. To share numbers with a colleague, use the dashboard figures or copy the rows you need.
- It has no reply box. Public reviews are answered on the platform itself, and private feedback is answered by contacting the customer directly.
