What each review table column means
Every row in the Reviews table is one interaction: a single visit to one of your review pages. This page explains what each column holds, where the value comes from, and which columns you can sort on.
The columns
| Column | What it shows | Sortable |
|---|---|---|
| Date | When the visitor opened your review page, newest first by default. | Yes |
| Location | The location whose link or QR code was used. A dash means the visit came through your main business profile link. | No |
| Rating | The stars the visitor selected on your review page, from 1 to 5. Empty when they left without rating. | Yes |
| Feedback | The comment typed on the private feedback page. Empty for visitors who were sent straight to your public review page. | No |
| Device | The device the visit came from, with the operating system and version underneath. | No |
| Browser | The browser and version used for the visit. | No |
| Redirected | A green check when the visitor selected the continue button on the thank-you page and was handed over to your external review page, a gray cross when they did not. | Yes |
Where device, browser and location come from
Device, operating system and browser are read from the visitor's browser at the moment the page loads. Nobody types them in, and they are not personal details - they describe the phone or computer, not the person.
The location comes from the link that was scanned or opened. Each location has its own short link, which is what keeps the rows separated. See Share your review link.
The feedback form asks for a comment and nothing else. Rows do not carry a name, an email address or a phone number, so you cannot identify who left a rating from this table.
What "Redirected" really means
A green check means the visitor selected the continue button on the thank-you page and Trustaroo handed them over to your external review page, for example your Google Business Profile. It does not mean they published anything once they got there.
Treat the redirected count as the number of people who accepted the hand-off, which is the part you control. Whether they finish the review is up to them and to the platform, so your public review count will always be lower than your referral count.
The marker records that continue click, and the thank-you page carrying it only appears when the review filter is on and the rating reached your threshold. With the review filter off visitors are forwarded to your review page immediately, so those rows arrive with no rating, no feedback and a gray cross even though the customer did reach your review site. See How the review filter works.
The Rating and Feedback columns hold what the customer entered on your own review page. Trustaroo does not import the star rating or review text they later publish on Google, Trustpilot or Facebook.
Reading a row at a glance
- Stars, no feedback, redirected: a happy customer who was sent to your public review page. This is the path you want most visitors to take.
- Stars, feedback, not redirected: a rating under your threshold. The visitor went to the private feedback page and told you what went wrong. See Read private feedback from customers.
- No stars, no feedback: with the review filter on, somebody opened the page and left. A few of these are normal. A lot of them can mean your review page copy is not clear, or that the QR code sits somewhere people scan out of curiosity. With the review filter off, every row looks like this, because nobody is asked to rate.
Which of the first two paths a customer takes is decided by your star threshold. How the review filter works explains the rule, and Choosing your star threshold helps you set it.
Columns hide on small screens
The table shows fewer columns as the window narrows. Feedback disappears first, then device and the redirected marker, then browser. Date, location and rating always stay visible.
